Sophie Dwyer: I knew that I wanted to have more exposure than just revenue.

Not to say that I had learned everything that is available in revenue, because even to this day, people will come to me with questions. I'm like, oh, I'm gonna have to research and figure out like how it should that actually be structured. But I knew that I wanted to have just more of an understanding in terms of me being valuable to my team as I continued to grow in my career.

I graduated with My Master's in public Accounting and I ended up working at Intel as a worldwide revenue channel analyst.

And that really started my path down revenue and quote to cash. I've worked at a number of software companies in various different roles working my way up from being a revenue accountant all the way to a senior manager. And I've had experiences both at public and private companies working predominantly in the software industry, but I also have some experience outside of the software industry as well.

I have actually known about Everest. For a number of years while they were still in stealth mode. The big draw for me is it just seemed like this would be a really good fit with the background that I had from finance transformation and my expertise in quote to cash.

One of the things that has impressed me so much about being here at Everest is the true subject matter expertise across the board. We've got a whole team of folks who are just really impassioned because they've gone through the pain of having to sit through that close or having to figure out what does this error message mean?

Like why is this happening in the middle of me trying to close my books? You've got folks who know the true standards too, right? GAAP, IFRS. We've got a whole team of folks who really wanna make sure that this process, not only are you compliant, but you're compliant in the easiest way possible.

It would be easy for me to say I am most excited about quote to cash because that's the area that my background is in. There are definitely things in the tool that

get me super excited about it. But there are a lot more thoughtful, very intentional areas of the tool that make me excited because I think about how would I use this tool if I was a person sitting in that accounting operations seat.
